PXE 1395
by Stephanie Bavcangiovska‘PXE 1395’ explores the intersection between archivists, curators and designers in opening new levels of access to archival material. Drawing content from an existing archive, ‘PXE 1395’ seeks to explore the truthfulness in how we construct foreign identities and experiences. It highlights the gaps or missing pieces of information that often exists within fragmented collections. Through a research led design practice, these vacant gaps have been filled with fabricated ephemeral documents to extend the original narrative. An extension that questions authenticity and begins to reveal obscure archetypes we often use to create meaning.
